We originally became involved with alpacas when a neighbour asked if I would be interested in agisting his two wethers. My husband and I had always been intrigued by these gorgeous animals although we had never taken the plunge and purchased them ourselves. We felt it would be a wonderful idea so we set to making a suitable paddock and shelter, everything was built in such a way that if things didn't work out they could be used by my horses. We still weren't prepared to fully commit.

Within 3 months we were smitten and we had purchased 2 pregnant females, one with female cria at foot. I guess you could say the rest was history......
